My creative journey began as a child amid Liberia's civil war, where I constantly found solace in drawing in the sand. It blossomed fully when I spent 6 years as a refugee in exile. These early experiences sparked my passion for storytelling and a career in design.  My career path was never linear. I worked as a cartoonist, a photojournalist, a graphic designer and 3 years ago pivoted to UX / Product design.  

I can truly say that every path led me here, I have learned humor through cartoons, storytelling through journalism, and finding visual solutions in graphic design.  Finally, I have understood that creating products isn’t about just making things aesthetically pleasing but solving a problem through design - adding value for a user while increasing an organization’s revenue.  I am passionate about design, learning and looking forward to my next role.  Don’t be a stranger, reach out!
